Senior Consultant SAP CO/PS (Application Maintenance)

Roles and responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders from the business (Controllers and Financial Accountants) and external parties to provide application maintenance.
• Support, implement and coordinates issues, bug fixes, service requests and minor changes in the FTM environment with interfacing areas in the ERP System.
• Responsibility for all the system configurations based on business requirements.
• Design, build and deploy SAP-based ERP solutions and conduct structured internal tests with the business users.
• Configure SAP FICO modules.
• Work successfully with other consultants and business employees to provide the best solutions for the business.
• Incident, Bug Fix, Service Requests and Minor Changes delivery
  - Resolve Incidents, Bug Fixes.
  - Deliver Service Requests and Minor changes.
  - Ensure that the system issues are resolved in accordance with agreed SLAs.
  - Participate in Problem Management Activities like Corrective and Preventive actions.
  - Participate in solution reviews with peers/ team members.
  - Undertake full responsibility for the quality of work delivered.
  - Deliver required documentation.
  - Communicate proactively with stakeholders on work product-related status delivery dates.
  - Acquire necessary approvals to maintain solution templates.
  - Ensure application fixes and new functions are consistent in design.
  - Ensure number of escalations are low to none.
  - Provide required inputs for meetings; prepare work progress and status reports at given intervals.

Expected experience, skill sets and abilities

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the SAP Finance-to-Manage (FTM) value stream or SAP FICO domain.
• Experience in international projects (European projects will be a plus).
• Experience in application maintenance (additional experience in planning/execution of at least 1 implementation/rollout projects will be a plus).
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment in a highly collaborative way at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation, and business-partnering skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task and prioritise tasks.
• A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity.
• Experience in these areas:
  - SAP CO Module along with the integration points in PS and reporting.
  - PS configuration and integration with CO.
  - Product costing with Engineer to Order, Made to Order, Made to Stock scenarios.
  - Material Ledger integration with CO and COPA reporting.
  - Report Painter report creation and modification.
  - Result analysis configuration and different WIP calculation methods.
  - Integration with PS, handling issues originating in PS and impacting Result analysis and CO reporting.
  - Sales Order Costing with WBS and sales order integration.
  - Handling of issues related to COPA. Configuration of COPA Value mappings.
  - End-to-End Process Customizing and Integration.
  - Basic knowledge of ABAP report developments and preparation of FS and debugging.
  - Integration with SD and MM, Knowledge of FI-AA and EBS.

Ideally, youll also have:

• The relevant SAP certification/s.
• The experience of working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy.
• Working experience with European clients.
• The willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET).
• The willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
