Roles and responsibilities

• Lead and manage comprehensive implementation projects for Aveva PI systems, ensuring seamless deployment and integration with existing client systems.
• Develop and execute strategic rollout plans, including detailed timeline planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Conduct advanced system configuration, data integration and customization to align with specific client requirements.
• Utilize Aveva PI Analytics to perform in-depth analysis of production data, identifying key opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.
• Develop, maintain and optimize analytical models and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to clients, supporting informed decision-making and long-term planning.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives, offering tailored solutions using Aveva PI systems.
• Deliver comprehensive training sessions and workshops to ensure clients effectively utilize Aveva PI tools and functionalities.
• Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to Aveva PI systems to maintain high client satisfaction.
• Work on concurrent projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare detailed project documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents and regular progress reports.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and engineering, to ensure smooth project execution and integration.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Aveva PI systems and industry best practices.
• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in implementation methodologies and analytical techniques.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal knowledge bases and best practices documentation.

Expected experience, skill sets and abilities

• A minimum of 8-10 years hands-on experience with Aveva PI system implementations and rollouts.
• Proven expertise in using Aveva PI Analytics for production optimization.
• Strong background in data analysis, process improvement and industrial automation.
• Deep proficiency in Aveva PI System components, including PI Server, PI Data Archive, PI AF (Asset Framework), and PI Vision.
• Experience with data integration tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for data analysis and automation.
• Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation and business-partnering skills.
• The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task and prioritise tasks.
• A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity.

Ideally, youll also have:

• The relevant Aveva certification/s.
• Experience in pharmaceuticals or Process Industry
• Knowledge of advanced analytics, data science and machine learning techniques.
• The experience of working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy.
• Working experience with European clients.
• The willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET).
• The willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
