As a Manager of Procurement, He will be responsible for managing overall activities in the Procurement Function.
He will be responsible for purchasing all In-Direct Materials at the Group Level, such as Engineering Materials, Consumables, Repair and maintenance, Services, and Capital Expenditures.
What will the individual do day to day
Coordination with HOD for closure of day-to-day activities related to Procurement Dept.
Close Coordination with other related functions for timely closure of requirements.
Responsible for Cost-Effective and Favorable Procurement of Plant Machinery (Capital Assets), Engineering Materials, Consumables (Opex), Repair Maintenance. Inviting analyzing quotations and Preparing a Techno-Commercial Comparative Statement.
Ensure timely Closure of Indents received from user Dept.
Closures of ARC s for Consumable Items, Misc. Repairs Maintenance Work across Group Level.
Prepare Payment Plan related to In-Direct Material Procurement.
New Vendor Development Negotiate to arrive Lowest Cost Proposition from Vendors at the Best Quality.
Creation and Issuance of Purchase Orders and maintaining the records for the same.
Track Purchase Orders and Follow up with Vendors to Ensure timely delivery of Material and review the quality of purchased products.
Creating Monthly Reports, MIS Presentations for monthly review, highlighting dept. achievements driving meaningful transformation for Projects.
What are we looking for
B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical/Electrical
Minimum Experience: 8-10 Years.
Experience in project procurement (Including Civil Work) will be an Added Advantage.
Good negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills, and team-handling abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work in a Dynamic and Intense Environment.
Well Versed with documentation and system adherence in Procurement Function.
