Job Description: Event Operations and Production Head

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Event Operations and Production Head to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional attendee experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution
Plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept to completion, ensuring all aspects align with organizational goals and client expectations.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.
Oversee the procurement of vendors, suppliers, and services, negotiating contracts to optimize quality and cost.
On-Site Management
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure event spaces are set up according to specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues during setup, execution, and teardown phases of events.
Leadership
Provide leadership and guidance to the event operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles.
Innovation and Trends
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event management.
Incorporate innovative solutions to enhance event operations and attendee experiences.
Process Improvement
Continuously evaluate and refine event processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability.
Implement feedback from stakeholders and attendees to drive ongoing improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors degree in Event Management
12+ years of experience in event operations and production, with a proven track record of managing large-scale events.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Proficient in event management software and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations related to events.
