Job Overview:.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven PMO Digital Transformation professional to join our dynamic team in the Banking and Financial Services domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving innovation within the organization.
This role will work closely with senior stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of projects that transform our digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Strategic Planning & Governance: Develop and implement PMO processes, methodologies, and governance structures to support the digital transformation roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of digital transformation projects within banking and financial services, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation projects.
- Ensure proactive resolution of issues and challenges that may impact project timelines and outcomes.
- Change Management: Lead the adoption of digital initiatives across the organization by working closely with change management teams to drive smooth transitions and ensure the integration of new digital tools and processes.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Implement performance metrics to assess the success of digital transformation initiatives and track project milestones.
- Provide regular reports and executive-level summaries.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the PMO function by identifying opportunities for optimization, standardization, and process enhancements.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with business leaders, IT, compliance, and other departments to foster a -culture of digital innovation and ensure that project objectives are aligned with business priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. PMP, Agile, or similar certifications preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focusing on digital transformation within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of digital banking trends, technologies (e. , blockchain, AI, cloud computing), and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working in a PMO environment, managing cross-functional teams, and leading complex, large-scale transformation projects.
-Demonstrated expertise in delivering digital projects on time and within budget while navigating the complexities of the financial services industry.
-Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive decision-making at all levels.
- Proficient in project management tools (e. , Jira, MS Project, Trello) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Preferred Skills:.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards in banking and financial services.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in digital transformation.
- Knowledge of data analytics and how it drives decision-making within the financial sector.
