We are looking for a talented and experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance operations, ensuring robust financial management, control, and reporting using SAP software.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Finance Controller to oversee and manage all financial operations, reporting, and accounting activities at ImpactGuru. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in finance and accounting management with proficiency in SAP software. You will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and providing insights for the organization's growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Reporting:

- Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting.

- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).

- Utilize SAP software for financial reporting, general ledger entries, and month-end closing processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders to align financial plans with strategic objectives.

- Use SAP to track budget adherence and perform variance analysis to recommend corrective actions.

Financial Analysis and Insights:

- Provide in-depth financial analysis to senior management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Perform cost and profitability analysis to drive efficiency and optimize resource allocation.

- Generate comprehensive financial reports via SAP to inform decision-making and business strategy.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Establish and monitor internal financial controls to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.

- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring all financial records and transactions are accurate and compliant.

- Ensure proper implementation of SAP modules for financial processes (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA).

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.

- Optimize working capital and ensure efficient cash management practices using SAP.

- Liaise with banks and other financial institutions as needed for liquidity and funding management.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Manage and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous development and performance.

- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring effective coordination between finance functions (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, payroll, etc.).

- Conduct performance reviews and ensure adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).

Tax and Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns (GST, income tax, etc.) and other statutory obligations.

- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure the company's tax strategies are compliant and optimized.

Process Improvement and Automation:

- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the finance department.

- Leverage SAP to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention in financial processes.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent financial qualification.

- Minimum of [6-10] years of experience in financial control or accounting roles, with at least [X] years of experience using SAP software (e.g., SAP FICO, SAP S/4HANA).

- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

- Experience in managing audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.

- Excellent proficiency in SAP Financial modules and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the crowdfunding, healthcare, or tech industries is a plus.

Knowledge of advanced SAP functionalities, including automation tools and financial consolidation.

Experience in strategic financial planning and advising senior management on financial matters.
