Role Overview:
As the Team Leader - Admissions, you will be responsible for managing a team of counselors and actively driving admission closures to meet enrollment targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for education. This role requires a results-driven professional who can motivate the team, optimize lead conversion strategies, and personally handle key enrollments to maximize revenue.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):
1. Team Management & Performance Optimization:
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of admissions counselors to optimize lead conversions.
- Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets, ensuring achievement of enrollment goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvement strategies.
2. Driving Admissions Closures (Personal Contribution to Sales):
- Actively engage with high-intent leads and personally drive admission closures.
- Handle complex student queries, objections, and escalations, ensuring successful enrollments.
- Assist the team in closing difficult cases and refining their sales techniques.
3. Lead Conversion Strategy & Optimization:
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance conversion rates from inquiries to enrollments.
- Analyze lead performance data, identify bottlenecks, and implement data-driven improvements.
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to refine the student enrollment journey.
4. Training & Development:
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the team's communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Keep the team updated on IIDE's program offerings, industry trends, and competitor insights.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
5. Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report key performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, counselor productivity, and pipeline progress.
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior management for process optimization.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, admissions, or lead conversion, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of sales funnels and conversion metrics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage a team while handling personal sales closures.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Leadsquared preferred) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Passion for helping students achieve their career goals through education.
