Job Description for QA Engineer (4-6 years) Functional or Functional + Automation

We are looking for a QA Engineer with 4-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by performing functional and/or automation testing. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements.
• Performing manual testing (Functional) to ensure applications meet the specified requirements.
• Writing and maintaining automated test scripts for regression and functional testing (if applicable).
• Collaborating with developers and product managers to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to process improvements for better test coverage.
• Analyzing test results, preparing reports, and ensuring timely delivery of software with high-quality standards.

Skills:

• Proficient in functional testing and understanding of software development life cycles.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) for those applying for Functional + Automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
