Qa Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the robustness and reliability of our web applications. As a QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing product quality through automated and manual testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automated Testing:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high reliability of web applications.
• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to enhance the efficiency and speed of testing.
• Ensure continuous optimization of automated testing workflows for maximum effectiveness.
• Manual Testing:
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing as necessary to validate application functionality.
• Investigate complex application issues and reproduce bugs to identify root causes.
• Test Execution & Issue Analysis:
• Execute and analyze both automated and manual test results, identifying issues and fixing them to maintain a high level of product quality.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Test Case & Documentation:
• Write clear, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases, test scenarios, and defects in Azure DevOps.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test activities, issues, and bug tracking to ensure consistency and traceability.
• API Testing:
• Test REST APIs using tools like Postman, validating backend services and integrations.
• Ensure proper validation of data exchanges between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Database Validation:
• Leverage basic SQL skills to query databases and verify the integrity of data during testing.
• Ensure data consistency and accurate responses from backend systems.
• Performance & Security Testing:
• Contribute to performance and security testing efforts to ensure the stability, performance, and compliance of the application.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities and bottlenecks, ensuring that the application meets industry standards.
• Communication & Collaboration:
• Maintain clear communication with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a mutual understanding of requirements and testing outcomes.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other collaborative activities to stay aligned with project goals.
• Bug Reporting & Tracking:
• Identify, record, document, and thoroughly track bugs in the application using Azure DevOps or other tracking tools.
• Verify bug fixes, ensure proper defect resolution, and validate the closure of identified issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also considered.

• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, with hands-on experience in both automated and manual testing.
• Familiarity with Playwright or other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Solid experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman.
• Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating data.
• Exposure to CI/CD processes and integration of automated tests into pipelines.

• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test case management, bug tracking, and version control.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Additional Skills (Desirable):
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of security testing concepts or tools is a plus.
• Experience with other test automation frameworks or programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java) is a plus.
