Position: General Manager - Finance & Commercial

Company: Mid-sized Listed Company (Defense Sector)

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting to: CFO

- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience, with a proven track record of managing and leading teams.

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

Position Summary:

- The General Manager - Finance & Commercial is responsible for managing all financial and commercial operations to ensure the company's financial health, regulatory compliance, and efficient commercial activities.

- This role includes overseeing regular accounting functions such as preparing consolidated financial statements, managing banking and treasury operations, handling direct and indirect taxes, MIS, supply chain management (SCM), legal matters, contracts, and ensuring statutory compliance.

- The ideal candidate will lead these functional teams and act as a key business partner to the leadership.

- Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading diverse teams.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

- High level of commitment to both individual and team performance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office tools.
