Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights:

- Analyze sales, inventory, and market data to identify trends, fast-moving products, and underperforming categories.

- Provide actionable insights to enhance product assortment and purchasing decisions.

- Track category performance based on key metrics such as sell-through rates, profit margins, and stock turnover.

Assortment Planning:

- Support the development of seasonal and long-term assortment strategies using market trends and historical performance data.

- Work closely with the buying team to classify products (e.g., A/B/C categories) and determine appropriate purchase volumes.

Forecasting & Demand Planning:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate accurate sales forecasts and budget allocations.

- Utilize data-driven models to optimize demand planning and maintain appropriate inventory levels.

Process Optimization:

- Identify inefficiencies in buying and merchandising processes and recommend improvements.

- Develop tools and dashboards to enhance reporting and analytics for better decision-making.

Competitive Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify consumer preferences, pricing strategies, and potential product gaps.

- Present insights to refine category strategies and purchasing decisions.

Reporting & Communication:

- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on category performance, highlighting key insights and strategic recommendations.

- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on procurement goals.
