Job Summary:
The Marketing General Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading all marketing initiatives within the BPO organization, with a primary focus on brand building, lead generation, and client acquisition. This role requires strategic thinking, team leadership, and hands-on execution to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the BPO or services industry, and a track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
- Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy to achieve business growth objectives and increase brand visibility.
- Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, events, content marketing, etc.) tailored to target audiences.
2. Lead Generation and Sales Support:
- Design and manage lead generation campaigns to drive qualified leads for the sales team.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead nurturing, hand-off processes, and optimizing conversion rates.
- Monitor and analyze lead generation and conversion metrics to adjust strategies as necessary.
3. Brand Management and Positioning:
- Strengthen the company's brand positioning in the BPO industry through consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, case studies, and success stories that showcase the company's expertise.
4. Digital Marketing and Content Strategy:
Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media, to drive online visibility and engagement.
5- Develop a content marketing strategy, including blog posts, whitepapers, videos, and webinars, that resonates with the target audience and builds thought leadership
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and differentiate the company from competitors.
6. Budgeting and Performance Tracking:
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies with measurable ROI.
- Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives, using metrics and analytics to adjust plans as needed.
7. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Operations, and Client Services, to ensure cohesive strategies and alignment with business objectives.
8. Client Engagement and Retention:
- Support client engagement strategies to increase satisfaction and loyalty.
- Work closely with the client services team to develop and execute client retention campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing from Tier 1/2 school, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
- 8+ years of experience in marketing and related activities
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in performance tracking and ROI measurement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with client engagement and retention strategies.
- Certification in digital marketing or relevant marketing technology platforms.
