Job Purpose:
- The primary function of this role is to develop and implement successful, long-term digital marketing strategies that generate leads, enhance brand visibility, and drive revenue growth.
- This involves managing all aspects of our digital presence, from website optimization and content creation to social media engagement and paid advertising campaigns.
- The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with various teams to ensure consistency across all marketing channels, with a particular focus on digital platforms.
- This role demands forward-thinking ideas and a proactive approach to building and maintaining a strong company web presence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing roadmap encompassing lead generation, branding, and customer acquisition across all target segments.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish clear targets for each digital marketing initiative.
- Manage the digital marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Forecast sales performance trends and proactively identify opportunities to expand market share.
Channel Management & Optimization:
- Oversee all digital marketing channels (website, blogs, email, social media, paid advertising, etc) to ensure brand consistency and maximize reach.
- Manage and optimize website content, considering SEO best practices and user experience.
- Develop and implement effective email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Manage and grow our social media presence, creating engaging content and fostering online communities.
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads, social media) to drive targeted traffic and generate leads.
Performance Measurement & Analysis:
- Track and analyze key metrics using tools like Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to improve conversion rates and ROI.
Content Strategy & Creation:
- Develop and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives and target audience needs.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various digital channels (website, blog, social media, email).
- Ensure content is optimized for search engines and adheres to brand guidelines.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate closely with Product and Sales teams to align marketing efforts with product development and sales strategies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on campaign performance and progress.
- Liaise with the systems team to ensure seamless integration of digital marketing tools and technologies.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Motivate and mentor the digital marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their goals.
Competitive Analysis & Market Research:
- Monitor competitor activities and identify emerging trends in the digital marketing landscape.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences, informing marketing strategy development.
Technology & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing technologies and trends.
- Identify and evaluate new tools and platforms that can enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Champion the adoption of innovative digital marketing strategies and techniques.
Qualifications:
- MBA in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience 4+ in digital marketing management, with a demonstrable track record of success.
- Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, and analytics.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management tools).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
