Social Media Specialist

Job purpose

The primary function of the role is to work with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas for enhancing brand visibility, engaging target audience, maintain a strong online presence of businesses and contribute to marketing and business objectives.

Responsibility:

• Content Creation: Develop a content strategy aligned with the brand's voice and objectives, ensuring that it resonates with the target audience and drives engagement. Creating engaging and compelling content to publish across various platforms.

• Social Media Management: Manage social media accounts, including posting content, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring user activity. Maintain an active presence on social platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging while staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

• Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess the performance of campaigns and strategies.

Duties:

• Pitch ideas and implement them to increase engagement on all social media channels
• Maintain social media calendar
• Collaborate with internal teams
• Communicate and assign design tasks to the design team
• Utilizing strong research and analytical ability to evaluate social media insights
• Advise on local, national, and international trends.

Qualifications

Education: Graduation in marketing or any relevant streams with minimum 50%
