We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

In this role you will:

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using Vision Plus.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications.
Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Document technical specifications and maintain up-to-date system documentation.
Assist in the migration and upgrade of mainframe applications as needed.
Ensure data integrity and security across all mainframe applications.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
17+ years of experience in mainframe development, with a focus on Vision Plus.
Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and other mainframe technologies.
Strong understanding of Vision Plus modules such as CMS, FAS, TRAMS, ASM, and MBS.
Experience with batch processing and online transaction processing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
Knowledge of credit card processing and financial services industry.
Experience with mainframe modernization and migration projects.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
