Practice Manager - Data Engineering (10-15 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a Practice Manager - Data Engineering to lead and expand our Data and AI business. This strategic role requires a technology leader with deep expertise in data engineering, hands-on experience with platforms like Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake, and a strong foundation in Azure cloud technologies.

You will drive the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable data solutions that empower businesses with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership : Lead and execute hands-on implementation of data platforms to design and support scalable, performance-driven analytics solutions.

2. Solution Architecture : Architect and deliver innovative, cost-effective data engineering solutions that align with organizational goals.

3. Team Leadership : Build and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering continuous learning.

4. Business Growth : Identify opportunities to enhance business outcomes through advanced data engineering solutions and contribute to expanding our Data and AI portfolio.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Experience : 10 - 12 years in data engineering, with at least 6 years of hands-on expertise in building Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.

- Technical Expertise : Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Scala, along with in-depth experience on platforms like Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.

- Cloud Proficiency : Strong working knowledge of Azure for implementing scalable data analytics.

- Leadership : Proven track record in building and leading data engineering teams and delivering complex solutions.

- Certifications : Databricks, Snowflake, or relevant data engineering certifications are a significant advantage.
