Senior Telecom Engineer - GSM/Asterisk (5-8 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced Telecom Engineer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom infrastructure, with hands-on experience working with GSM Gateways, Asterisk, and FreePBX systems.

The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing telecom systems for our organization, ensuring high-quality communication services.

Responsibilities :

- Plan, configure, and implement GSM Gateways, Asterisk, and FreePBX solutions.

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for telecom infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted communication systems.

- Provide technical support for all telecom systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Asterisk, FreePBX, and GSM Gateway configurations.

- Collaborate with network teams to integrate telecom systems with other communication platforms.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to call quality, connectivity, and network failures.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including network topology, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

- Regularly apply software updates and patches to telecom systems to ensure security and performance.

Requirements :

- 5-8 years of experience in the telecom domain, particularly with GSM Gateways, Asterisk, and FreePBX.

- Deep knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, IAX, etc.) and telephony systems.

- Experience in configuring, managing, and maintaining Asterisk and FreePBX-based systems.

- Experience with GSM gateway configurations and management for integration into VoIP and PSTN networks.

- Strong understanding of IP-based networks, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently and promptly.

- Familiarity with scripting for automating tasks and improving system functionality.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
