Senior ERP Finance Techno-Functional Consultant (7-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. ERP Finance Techno-Functional Consultant to join our growing team.

This role will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our ERP financial systems, with a primary focus on Supplier Invoice, Supplier Payment, Supplier Entry & Management, General Ledger, and Cash Management.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation coupled with a solid understanding of financial business processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Solution Design & Implementation : Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the ERP financial modules, specifically focusing on Supplier Invoice processing, Supplier Payments, Supplier Management, General Ledger, and Cash Management.

- Technical Development : Develop and maintain custom forms, reports, workflows, and integrations using the ERP platform's technical tools (e.g, SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, etc. This will constitute approximately 80% of the role.

- Functional Expertise : Provide functional support and guidance to business users on ERP financial modules.

- This will involve understanding business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and configuring the system accordingly (approximately 20% of the role).

- Deep dive into payment and invoice processing workflows, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Utilize expertise in General Ledger and Cash Management modules to support daily operations, month-end close processes, and reporting requirements.

- Design, develop, and maintain workflows, reports, and approval processes to automate and streamline financial operations.

- Create and modify custom forms to meet specific business needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing ERP functionality.

- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : Analyze and resolve technical and functional issues related to the ERP financial modules.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all customizations, configurations, and processes.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes and systems.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or a related field.

- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in ERP Finance Techno-Functional roles.

- Extensive experience with ERP financial modules, specifically Supplier Invoice, Supplier Payment, Supplier Entry & Management, General Ledger, and Cash Management.

- Strong technical skills in e.g, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, APIs, etc.

- Solid understanding of financial business processes, including procure-to-pay, general ledger accounting, and cash management.

- Experience with workflow design, report development, and custom form creation.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Experience with [e.g, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, Fusion, etc.] is highly preferred
