Hiring Vendor Manager

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management:

• Identify and on-board new vendors to meet product demand and expand market presence.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Provide vendor training and guidance on company processes, ensuring adherence to TAT (Turnaround Times) and quality standards.
• Monitor vendor performance, address issues, and ensure timely order fulfilment.

Operations Management:

• Oversee and optimize product listings, pricing, and inventory management across e-commerce and retail platforms.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Customer Support, Finance) to ensure seamless operations and vendor integration.
• Track logistics, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries of products to meet operational efficiency targets.

Strategic Planning and Development:

• Analyse current market trends and competition to enhance product assortment and vendor alignment.
• Implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance vendor experience.
• Ensure alignment with the company's growth strategy for Omni-channel retail and international e-commerce.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, train, and motivate a team to drive vendor acquisition and operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, ensuring team goals align with organizational objectives.

Performance Tracking:

• Develop and manage KPIs to track vendor acquisition, operational efficiency, and fulfilment rates.
• Create and present performance reports to senior management, offering actionable insights for improvement.

Candidature

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in vendor management, business development, or operations (e-commerce experience preferred).
• Strong expertise in vendor on-boarding, category management, and partnership collaborations.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in tools like MS Excel and inventory management software.
• Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
