Cad Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented CAD Designer (Print Design) to join our in-house team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating and visualizing fabric prints, patterns, and designs using CAD software. The ideal candidate should be highly creative, proficient in Adobe Photoshop, and possess a strong understanding of print design for apparel. This role will be responsible for developing innovative prints, patterns, and surface designs aligned with our brand aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop original print designs and patterns for clothing collections.
• Ensure seamless repeat patterns and high-quality print files for production.
• Work closely with designers and merchandisers to understand seasonal trends and themes.
• Modify, re-color, and finalize prints as per production requirements.
• Ensure color accuracy and resolution for digital and screen printing.
• Utilize CAD software to generate detailed and precise print layouts.
• Stay updated with the latest print and textile trends.
• Collaborate with vendors and production teams for sampling and execution.

Key Skills & requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in print design for fashion/apparel brands.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software along with Adobe Photoshop; Illustrator knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in creating all-over prints, placements, and engineered designs.
• Understanding of different printing techniques (digital, screen, block, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail, color sense, and artistic flair.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio showcasing previous print design work is mandatory.
