Sales Officer Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Training & Development:

• Conduct regular in-store and virtual training sessions for sales associates across all retail locations.
• Develop and deliver engaging training modules on customer interaction, effective dress presentation, and conversion techniques.
• Provide live demonstrations on how to showcase dresses attractively to customers, including draping, styling, and accessorizing.
• Train staff on persuasive selling, upselling, and cross-selling techniques to increase store revenue.
• Teach the art of building customer relationships to improve customer retention and loyalty.

Performance Monitoring & Coaching:

• Conduct mystery shopping exercises and store audits to assess staff performance post-training.
• Provide personalized coaching and feedback to underperforming employees.
• Work with store managers to set sales targets and track progress through periodic evaluations.
• Identify and reward top-performing employees through incentive-driven training programs.

Product Knowledge & Merchandising:

• Train staff on the features, benefits, and uniqueness of our ethnic wear collections.
• Educate sales teams about fabric types, embroidery details, and outfit pairings to enhance their product knowledge.
• Ensure sales teams can guide customers on occasion-based styling, such as festive wear, wedding attire, and casual ethnic outfits.
• Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to enhance in-store displays and ensure products are showcased optimally.

Customer Service Excellence:

• Implement customer engagement strategies to improve the shopping experience.
• Teach sales staff how to handle customer queries, complaints, and objections professionally.
• Train employees on the importance of body language, voice modulation, and active listening in sales.
• Introduce a personal shopping approach to make customers feel valued and encourage repeat visits.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

• Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, and employee performance.
• Gather feedback from trainees and refine training modules for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest fashion retail trends and incorporate best practices into training programs.
• Work closely with the HR and Sales leadership teams to align training goals with business objectives.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales training, preferably in fashion/ethnic wear.
• Strong knowledge of customer engagement, upselling techniques, and visual merchandising.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel extensively across India for store visits and training sessions.
• Strong understanding of ethnic wear trends, customer preferences, and fashion styling.
• Proficiency in Hindi & English (regional languages are a plus).
• Experience in motivating and coaching sales teams to improve performance.
