About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cassandra Database Expert to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance Cassandra databases.

You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of mission-critical Cassandra deployments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Installation, configuration, and administration of Cassandra clusters.

- Performance tuning and optimization of Cassandra databases.

- Database backup and recovery procedures.

- Disaster Recovery planning and execution for Cassandra deployments.

- Design and implement Cassandra data models.

- Write and optimize CQL queries.

- Monitor Cassandra cluster health and performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

- Collaborate effectively with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cassandra administration.

Technical Skills :

- Expert-level knowledge of Cassandra, including installation, configuration, and administration.

- Strong proficiency in CQL (Cassandra Query Language).

- Experience with Cassandra data modeling and schema design.

- Experience with data migration and integration.

- Experience with other NoSQL databases (i.e., MongoDB, Redis) is a plus.

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
