Senior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team for a high-impact project. This individual will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and operations, ensuring the project's continuous delivery, scalability, and resilience.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with development teams and IT staff to oversee code releases, deployments, and maintain operational excellence.

Your expertise will be pivotal in automating and streamlining processes, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.

Responsibilities :

- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).

- Collaborate with software developers and IT staff to automate and streamline operations and processes.

- Build, maintain, and monitor configuration management, build, release, and deployment systems.

- Ensure critical system security using best-in-class cloud security solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.

- Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.

- Actively participate in the design and implementation of application features to improve the deployment pipeline.

Must-Haves :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.

- Proficient with git and git workflows.

- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl.

- Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS (minimum 3 years).

- Experience with automation software (e.g. , Puppet, cfengine, Chef).

- Familiarity with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js), Django, and FastAPI.

- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills, especially in high-pressure situations.

- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, networking, and access management.

Nice to Haves :

- AWS Solutions Architect Certification or any AWS certification.

- Experience with MongoDB and Django.

- 5 years of experience in DevOps is ideal.
