About the Role :

We are hiring for a SaaS company based in France.

And we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead with expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and strong backend capabilities in Python, Django, and Kafka.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the architecture, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable web applications.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for mentoring a team of developers, driving engineering excellence, and collaborating with key stakeholders to implement best practices and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications using the MERN stack.

- Oversee backend services and microservices built with Python and Django, ensuring efficient system integrations.

- Develop and implement real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka.

- Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and development strategies.

- Provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

- Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code through structured code reviews, best practices, and automated testing.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, optimizing application performance.

- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Evaluate new technologies and architectural approaches to enhance efficiency and scalability.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline operations and improve system reliability.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Lead role, overseeing development teams.

- Deep expertise in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Express.js.

- Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for database design and management.

- Proficiency in Python and Django for backend services.

- Experience implementing Kafka for event-driven architectures.

- Advanced knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern frontend build tools.

- Cloud expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Extensive experience in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong understanding of backlog refinement and sprint planning.

- Strong leadership, mentorship, and strategic decision-making skills.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, hands-on approach to challenges.

- Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
