Job Description

Role Overview

We seek a highly motivated and strategic Business Development Head to lead our growth initiatives in cloud solutions, QA automation, and SEO-driven performance marketing. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in farming (expanding existing client relationships), hunting (acquiring new clients), and driving leads through digital marketing strategies, particularly SEO and performance marketing.

This role requires a self-starter with a hands-on approach who can roll up their sleeves, lead from the front, and collaborate across teams to achieve business goals.


Key Responsibilities

Business Growth and Strategy

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue and growth in Cloud solutions and QA automation.
  • Identify high-value clients and emerging market segments to create targeted strategies for acquisition and retention.
  • Build a strong pipeline of leads through traditional and digital channels, leveraging SEO and performance marketing.

Cloud Solutions Expertise

  • Leverage expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to drive conversations around migrations, optimization, and managed cloud services.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to offer scalable, innovative, and customized cloud solutions to clients.

QA Automation Expertise

  • Promote QA automation services with expertise in frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement comprehensive automation strategies for quality assurance and testing.

SEO and Performance Marketing

  • Develop and execute an SEO strategy to generate inbound leads and optimize website traffic.
  • Drive performance marketing campaigns, including paid search, display ads, and remarketing, to generate qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to measure ROI on campaigns and continuously improve lead generation strategies.

Client Engagement and Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Global level C-level executives and decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing tailored solutions for cloud, QA automation, and marketing needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure alignment with client objectives and company goals.

Hands-On Leadership

  • Take ownership of initiatives, working closely with teams to ensure timely and successful execution.
  • Demonstrate a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude by actively contributing to critical tasks, including strategy execution and client engagement.

Market Analysis and Innovation

  • Stay updated on industry trends in cloud technologies, QA automation frameworks, and digital marketing tools.
  • Provide strategic insights to refine offerings and align services with market demands.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • 12-15 years in business development within IT services, with proven expertise in cloud solutions and QA automation
    • Demonstrated success in driving lead generation through SEO, SEM, and performance marketing campaigns.
    • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and QA automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG).
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of SEO, paid search, and performance marketing strategies for lead generation.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset to evaluate marketing performance and optimize campaigns.
    • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.
    • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple client engagements simultaneously.
  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
