About the Role:

This is a high-impact role with strategic and operational responsibilities. As CFO, you will be a key member of the leadership team, driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and shaping the company's financial future. You will have global exposure, collaborating with teams in the Americas and contributing to group-wide financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Strategy:

- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the annual operating planning process, developing data-driven insights and benchmarks to inform strategic decision-making.

- Capital Structure & Funding: Optimize the company's capital structure by identifying and securing appropriate funding sources, including debt (banks, financial institutions, impact investors), equity, and quasi-equity.

- Investor Relations: Cultivate and manage relationships with investors and shareholders.

- Conduct quarterly investor calls, roadshows, and results updates to ensure transparency and confidence in the company's financial performance.

- Mergers & Acquisitions: Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, conducting due diligence and supporting the decision-making process.

- Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks through effective controls, automation, and systems.

Operational Excellence

- Financial Accounting & Reporting: Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Implement new technologies and automation tools to streamline processes and enhance reporting.

- Tax Management: Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations. Optimize tax structures to minimize liabilities while supporting business objectives.

- Internal Audit: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit program to identify and address areas for improvement in operational efficiency and risk management.

- Corporate Governance: Establish and maintain strong corporate governance policies and practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Build a High-Performing Team: Recruit, develop, and lead a talented finance team capable of meeting the company's evolving needs.

- Mentoring & Coaching: Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Global Collaboration

- Global Controller Responsibilities: Serve as the Global Controller for the group, collaborating with finance teams in the Americas and ensuring group-wide compliance requirements are met.

- International Financial Reporting: Oversee financial reporting for international subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with local regulations and group accounting policies.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in a listed manufacturing company. Experience in the food packaging or sustainability industry is a plus.

Education: CA/CPA or MBA is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS), financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Global Mindset: Experience working in a multinational environment and collaborating with international teams.
