Job Summary:

Our client, a leading Domestic Investment Bank, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Analyst - NBFC, to join their Equity Research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the NBFC sector research, including a deep understanding of the industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics. The candidate will be responsible for producing insightful and actionable research reports that support the bank's investment recommendations and help their clients make informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead comprehensive research and analysis of NBFC companies, encompassing financial statements, industry reports, and regulatory filings.

- Construct and maintain robust financial models to forecast earnings, cash flows, and valuations for NBFC companies.

- Proactively monitor industry trends and market developments, providing timely updates to the team and clients.

- Actively engage in client meetings and conference calls to articulate research findings and investment recommendations.

- Foster collaboration with other members of the Equity Research team to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the sector and to identify lucrative investment opportunities.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry contacts, including company management teams, industry experts, and other analysts.

- Contribute to due diligence efforts related to potential investments in the NBFC sector.

Qualifications:

MBA or CA qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CFA certification is preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in Equity Research, with a focus on the NBFC sector.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong financial modeling skills and experience with valuation techniques.

- Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise, and compelling research reports.

- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Proven track record of producing high-quality research and generating investment ideas.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry contacts.
