Senior Software Engineer- Backend (Emerging Tech)

WHAT YOU LL DO

We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to join our Emerging Tech team. You will be a key member of a backend team working with some of the most robust systems powering critical features globally for HM. You will collaborate with some of the brightest minds and cutting-edge technology to support the global scale at which HM operates. You will be at the center of innovation and will have the opportunity to contribute to HMs vision of becoming a market leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and system architecture.
• Develop APIs for communication between systems.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with

• 6-10 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong understanding of languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and microservice architecture.

• Open to learning and adapting to new technologies and best practices.
• Team players with strong collaboration and communication skills.
