Regional Head - O&M, Level - DGM/ GM

Role & responsibilities

• Handling the complete responsibility of Operation and maintenance activities Site.
• Assisting with the preparation of the O&M budget for Site.
• Responsible for assisting in preparation of Site O&M budget
• Managing activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution; involving in technical specifications, scheduling, progress monitoring, erection, testing & commissioning, site management.
• Interacting with the experts regarding tropicalisation of turbines & performance improvement.
• Responsible for leading the team in maintenance of Windmills for routine, preventive and predictive maintenance and annual overhauls at Site.
• Responsible for maintenance plan for the Site,
• Condition monitoring of the equipment and tracking the equipment efficiency.
• Carrying out periodic checks to ensure performance of equipment and maintaining requisite documents for the same.
• Proactively identifying areas of obstruction / breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipment through application of troubleshooting tools. Handling troubleshooting of problems.
• Installing and commissioning as well as conducting tests & inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of Site
• Installation and commissioning of the heavy equipment.
• Responsible for implementing Safety, Security & Fire fighting systems & procedures at sites

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong process orientation and experience of managing Site O&M Activities.
• Ability to manage O&M Team at Site
• Good negotiation skills (especially to deal with external vendors)
• Cross-cultural sensitivity, Networking and Relationship Building
