Sales Director Jewellery (US Market)


Location: Mumbai, India / Remote (with travel to the US)

About Us:

Grown Diamond Corporation has been a leading supplier of certified lab-grown diamonds to the US market for over 10 years. As we expand into jewellery manufacturing and supply, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Director to drive B2B jewellery sales, leveraging our existing client base of over 1,000 retailers.


Role Overview:

The Sales Director Jewellery will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our new lab-grown diamond jewellery line in the US market. The ideal candidate has a strong network of jewellery retailers, chain stores, and independent jewellers and understands the nuances of selling finished jewellery.

Key Responsibilities:

B2B Jewellery Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for lab-grown diamond jewellery in the US retail market.
  • Drive B2B sales growth, focusing on independent jewellers, multi-store chains, and large retailers.
  • Identify and establish new retail partnerships while strengthening relationships with existing clients.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage key accounts and ensure repeat business and client satisfaction.
  • Organize and participate in US-based trade shows, client meetings, and industry networking events.
  • Work closely with independent sales reps in the US to drive revenue growth.

Market Intelligence & Product Positioning

  • Analyse US market trends, pricing structures, and consumer preferences for lab-grown diamond jewellery.
  • Provide feedback to product development & design teams to ensure collections align with retail demand.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns targeting B2B clients.

Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Develop sales forecasts and reports, tracking performance and identifying areas for growth.
  • Train and mentor the sales team (if based in Mumbai) or manage external sales reps (if working remotely).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience:

  • 8-12 years in fine jewellery sales (preferably lab-grown or natural diamonds).
  • Proven track record in B2B sales to retailers, independent jewellers, or large jewellery chains in the US market.
  • Existing relationships with key retailers and buyers in the industry.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong negotiation and business development skills.
  • Deep understanding of lab-grown diamond trends & the competitive landscape.
  • Experience in working with independent sales reps and trade shows.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, and production).

Preferred Location & Work Setup:

  • Mumbai-based candidates with willingness to travel to the US periodically.
  • Remote candidates (US-based) will also be considered if they have a strong industry network.
