About the Company : Our client is a fast-growing Series B B2C startup, focused on delivering exceptional consumer experiences. They are looking for an innovative Social Media Head to elevate their brand's online presence. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and adaptability to craft engaging content that resonates with a trend-savvy audience.
Position Overview:The Social Media Head will report directly to the VP of Marketing, lead a team of 4-5 professionals, and collaborate with the Creative Head and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of brand strategies. The ideal candidate must have experience working with startups or marketing agencies and should have handled social media campaigns for consumer lifestyle brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Content Creation:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to industry trends and audience behaviors.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, visually compelling content across platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Collaborate with the Creative Head to align social media content with the broader branding strategy.
Audience Engagement:
- Build and nurture an active online community by managing interactions, fostering discussions, and responding promptly to audience inquiries.
- Leverage audience insights and analytics to create targeted, trend-driven content that drives engagement.
Performance Analysis:
- Track key social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and campaign performance.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize strategies and achieve business objectives.
Collaboration & Partnerships:
- Work closely with designers, photographers, and influencers to create on-brand content that aligns with company goals.
- Partner with the Creative Head and marketing teams to ensure consistency across all brand communications.
Trend Adaptation:
- Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep the brand competitive and relevant.
- Introduce innovative ideas and concepts that resonate with a trend-conscious audience.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and inspire a team of 4-5 professionals, fostering innovation and growth.
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to elevate the team's creative output.
- Drive collaboration within the team and across departments to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing social media for dynamic brands (experience in fashion, lifestyle, or startups is preferred).
- Expertise in social media platforms, tools like Meta Suite and Google Analytics, and content strategies.
- Exceptional visual storytelling and copywriting skills.
- A strong understanding of branding, with a knack for creating content that connects with a diverse audience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.
