Senior Electrical Engineer (EPC Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Global Engineering Center team to execute International and Local projects in India. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those who have worked in an EPC environment, international project experience.

Core responsibilities

• Working with all electrical design, preparation for water treatment system and associated
• system interface with skid, pump, control panel, instruments, etc.,
• Provide Design support for Various Electrical Services (HT/LT etc.) including design

data sheet and conceptual design drawings for MCC, Transformers, Motors, etc.

• Assist and support team for the design, implementation.
• Responsible for design of electrical systems; ensuring

that these systems meet applicable standards & codes.

• Knowledge of power distribution systems, circuit, and load protection systems
• Oversee the projects conception, design and specifications and manage scheduling,

estimating, and securing materials.

• Expertise in using AutoCAD software for developing and update all drawing.
• Experience in drafting electrical drawing such as wiring and single line diagram, cable

routing.

• Preparing technical documents such SLD, Load List, Cable schedule, datasheets, and

specification.

• Perform monitoring on platform, functional checks, setting, testing, failure analysis.
• Assists in preparation of electrical engineering calculations in support of electrical system

designs including, electrical equipment sizing, feeder sizing and equipment selection.

• Guide designers to prepare drawings.
• Ensure seamless integration of these components into the overall treatment system.
• Equipment Specification and Procurement / RFQ: Prepare technical specifications for Electrical equipment and work with vendors to procure the required components. Evaluate equipment proposals and make recommendations based on technical and budgetary considerations.
• Confirm compliance with customer specifications for equipment and material types;
• Review and approve drawings and documents from Vendors.
• Interface with Process, Civil / Structural, Piping, Instrumentation Engineers for complete engineering work.
• Collaborate with Technical project manager to plan and execute projects on time and on budgeted manhours.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and progress assessments to ensure project objectives are met.
• Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure that all Electrical designs and installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices. Conduct quality control reviews to verify design integrity and safety.
• Cost Estimation and Budget Management: Collaborate with the project team to prepare cost estimates for Electrical components and equipment. Identify cost-saving opportunities where applicable.

Required

• Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years in Electrical engineering with expertise in water and/or wastewater treatment systems.
• Familiar with industrial standards like ATEX, BS, CE, IEEE, IEC, ISA, NEMA, etc.
• Strong understanding of various Electrical components and equipment used in water and/or

wastewater treatment systems.

• The ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional
• teams.
