COMMIS / DCDP / CDP

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing as directed by the Chef de Partie.
  
• Cooking Assistance: Assist with basic cooking tasks, such as saut ing, grilling, boiling, or frying, under supervision.
  
• Section Rotation: Work in various kitchen sections such as sauces, vegetables, fish, and butchery to gain diverse culinary skills and experience.
  
• Maintaining Kitchen Standards: Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring that the kitchen is always clean and organized.
  
• Equipment Use: Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as knives, ovens, grills, and mixers.
  
• Stock Management: Ensure that all ingredients and supplies are stocked, and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
  
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and smooth service.
  
• Quality Control: Help maintain food quality by adhering to recipe specifications, portion control, and presentation standards.
  
• Health Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including safe handling of food and cleaning duties.

Requirements

• Craftsmanship certificate or diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field.
  
• Previous formal training in a culinary school or apprenticeship is a plus.
