ERP Developer

Role & responsibilities

• ERP Development & Customization: Design, develop, and customize ERP modules to meet the specific needs of the business, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• System Implementation: Collaborate with project teams to implement ERP systems, including data migration, configuration, and testing.
• System Integration: Integrate ERP solutions with other business systems (e.g., CRM, HR, and finance platforms) to ensure data consistency and process automation.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, code quality, and effective ERP customizations.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, product managers, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for ERP-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and resolving system bugs in a timely manner.
• System Performance & Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of ERP systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure rigorous testing of ERP solutions before deployment, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for ERP customizations, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure ERP solutions comply with data protection laws and security policies, maintaining a high level of system security.

Qualifications:

• Graduate/ Postgraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

• 5+ years of experience as an ERP Developer, with hands-on experience in ERP development (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
• Familiarity with system integration, middleware technologies, and third-party application integration.
• Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ERP business processes, such as finance, HR, inventory, and supply chain management.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with modern ERP systems, such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud ERP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience in reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for generating meaningful insights from ERP data.
• Knowledge of business intelligence and data analytics tools to enhance ERP reporting capabilities..
