GM/AGM - Facility Management

Role & responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement long-term facility management strategies in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Oversee budget planning and cost control for facility management, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
• Identify and execute initiatives to improve facility operations and reduce maintenance costs without compromising quality.

Operations Management:

• Manage day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, utilities, and vendor management.
• Ensure facilities meet all government regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Lead sustainability efforts, focusing on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental compliance.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of facility managers, engineers, and support staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork within the facility management department.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement professional development initiatives.

Vendor and Contract Management:

• Negotiate and manage contracts with facility owners (Leased premises), service providers, vendors, and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and other facility needs.
• Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure vendor performance aligns with organizational standards.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation plans for facility operations and align the same with requirements of the compliance team.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and manage disaster recovery and emergency response plans for facilities.

Customer Service and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Act as a liaison between facility management and internal/external stakeholders to address needs and resolve issues.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
