Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Washing

Role & responsibilities

• Establish and maintain customer relationships, ensuring desired process effects are achieved.
• Oversee garment development, including size sets, TOP, measurement pilot runs, and samples.
• Obtain wash approvals from buyer's post-sample submissions.
• Execute washing techniques as per seasonal trends and buyer proposals.
• Drive R&D initiatives for innovative garment developments aligned with market trends.
• Develop cost-effective and production-friendly washing processes.
• Ensure timely task completion with a focus on first-time quality.
• Foster teamwork, coordination, and effective communication across departments.
• Ensure on-time delivery of all products.
• Possess strong technical expertise in denim washing and dyeing processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields (preferred).
• Proven experience in garment dyeing and washing, especially in dry processes.
• Good understanding of color science and matching.
• Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet production deadlines.
