Credit Manager - Auto Loan - CA (4-6 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Credit Manager specializing in Auto Loans/Vehicle Finance to join our team in Kurla, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in credit policy, risk strategies, and risk mitigation. This role involves assessing creditworthiness, implementing risk management policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement credit policies for Auto Loans/Vehicle Finance.

- Assess loan applications and evaluate customer creditworthiness based on financial analysis and risk assessment frameworks.

- Define and execute risk strategies to ensure a balance between business growth and risk control.

- Identify and mitigate potential credit risks by implementing robust risk management practices.

- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend improvements to minimize NPAs and enhance credit quality.

- Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and collections teams to streamline credit processes.

- Ensure compliance with RBI and other regulatory guidelines related to vehicle financing.

- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies.

- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including dealers and financial partners.

- Utilize data analytics and credit scoring models to refine decision-making processes.

Key Requirements:

- Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.

- Experience: Minimum 4+ years in credit underwriting, risk management, or credit policy within Auto Loans/Vehicle Finance.

- Strong understanding of credit policy frameworks, risk strategies, and risk mitigation techniques.

- Hands-on experience with financial statement analysis, credit scoring models, and regulatory compliance.

- Proficiency in data analytics and financial tools for credit evaluation.

- Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
