Job SummaryThe Executive - Partnerships and Linkages is a key role aimed at creating partnerships and managing backwardand forward linkages to support the sustainable operations of products made by women beneficiaries. The role involves sourcing raw materials, securing markets for finished goods, and fostering relationships with diverse stakeholders, including corporates, exhibitions, temples, vendors and other relevant entities. The goal is to ensure a seamless value chain that supports women-led enterprises and their products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backward Linkages

• Identify and establish partnerships with suppliers of raw materials such as flowers (temples), textiles,

and other required inputs.

• Negotiate for sustainable sourcing agreements.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure that sourced materials align with product and quality

requirements.

• Promote the use of eco-friendly and ethically sourced materials to uphold organizational values.

2. Forward Linkages

• Build and nurture partnerships with corporates, exhibitions, retailers, e-commerce platforms, and

other sales channels.

• Develop a database of potential buyers and institutional stakeholders for product marketing.
• Organize participation in trade fairs, expos, and community events to showcase beneficiary products.
• Design and implement innovative strategies to enhance market reach and sales opportunities.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including temple authorities, textile mills,

and corporate HR/CSR teams.

• Engage with artisans, community leaders, and other grassroots networks to ensure smooth

collaboration.

• Act as a liaison between beneficiaries and external partners to align supply and demand.

4. Capacity Building

• Collaborate with program teams to train women beneficiaries on market trends, quality standards,

and buyer expectations.

• Provide insights into product development based on market feedback and trends.

5. Market Intelligence and Strategy

• Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing benchmarks, and emerging opportunities for

beneficiary products.

• Prepare strategies for competitive positioning of products in targeted markets.

6. Monitoring and Reporting

• Track and report on the effectiveness of partnerships and linkage initiatives.
• Maintain records of agreements, supply chains, and sales performance.
• Provide periodic updates to management on achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Qualifications and Skills• Education: Masters degree in business administration, supply chain management, marketing, or a relatedfield

.• Experience:

• At least 2-4 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or supply chain management,

preferably in the development or social sector.

• Experience in working with grassroots communities or women-led enterprises is an advantage.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in market research and business analytics.
• Knowledge of sourcing and sales processes across different industries.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing is a plus.
