Detailed Production Scheduler ( SCM Planner)

Role Purpose: Responsible for the production planning processes (MPS and detailed scheduling) within their defined Value Stream. Ensure Production is scheduled correctly to achieve on time shipments (right time, right part, right quantity), optimized FG Inventory & Manufacturing Cost Conduct production planning and Scheduling activity and ensure efficient planning and optimized resource utilization (equipment, resources, etc.) Ensure ERP is updated with the agreed plans an parameters are up to date for assemblies and FG. Manager FG inventory.

Role & responsibilities :

Responsible for end to end Supply chain of given commodity starting from scheduling & buying parts from supplier base , In-house production planning to ensure customer delivery adherence.

• Release of weekly schedules to suppliers based on customer demand through ERP(MfgPro).
• In-house production planning of given commodity with optimum utilization of Operations resources.
• Ensuring 100% parts availability on In-house cells as per Pull System batch qty and sequence.by continuous engagement with Suppliers.
• Escalation to SCM Manger for any failures which will impact customer coverage.
• Ensuring SCM KPIs Inventory, MS Respect ratio, Customer DSA, No Premium freight, No obsolescence on planning failure.
• Working for Improvement in Supplier DSA.
• SCM MIS activities- Daily, monthly & annual (Budgeting work)
• Active participation in global initiatives on SuEx, SIOP, Demand management.
• Demonstrate and adherence to Safe behavior.

Preferred candidate profile

Essential Competencies:

Expert in Production Planning.
Strong experience in supplier scheduling and buying activities
Good in Inventory management
Good Exposure to Stores and logistics activities.
Strong communication skills.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

University degree in engineering or technical discipline Mech / Auto/ Prod.
Minimum 6-7 years of experience in SCM Planning domain.
