Senior Production Planner

We are looking for a Senior Professional in Production Planning with 8 to 10 years of work experience in the manufacturing sector along with solid organizational & interpersonal skills. Expertise in production planning, demand forecasting, and resource management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, Scheduling & Executing production based on Sales Order & Demand forecast.
• Analyze sales orders, market trends and historical data to forecast the demand.
• Develop and maintain the production schedule to ensure that production targets and deadlines are met.
• Compile the Sales Order & WIP in production to plan material stock/inventory.
• Drive & monitor the production plan, WIP, Plan Vs Achieve & delivery schedule to meet the requirements.
• Preparing of monthly production plan and converting into weekly/daily production schedules.
• Analyzing the output and identifying the gaps in resource/production capacity & drive to meet the targets.
• Preparing & analyzing the daily production reports & providing inputs for monthly review.
• Responsible for allocating the resource as per the production plan to achieve the desired output.
• Coordinate with departments such as procurement, inventory and production to ensure smooth scheduling & avoid stoppage.
• Co-coordinating with the entire Supply chain from manufacturing activity, quality control, final inspection until dispatch of FG.
• Prepare plan as per the Machine Capacity, allocation of machine as per the production plan for effective utilization of resources to achieve the desire performance of machines.
• Responsible for Material Master, BOM, MRP, Work orders in software as well as Manual record maintenance.
• Coordinating with the New product development team from prototype production to mass production. (Material, Manpower & Machine Allocation/Arrangements)
• Identify & resolve issues swiftly during the production process, such as material shortages and equipment breakdowns to avoid delays.
• Work with the SCM team to order materials and to maintain inventory levels.
• Ensure effective communication regarding production schedules, delays, or changes to stakeholders.
• Implement contingency plans when problems arise to mitigate impact on the production timeline.
• Ensure production processes are adhering to safety standards, regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Ensure that the production process meets the required quality standards & customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 to 10 years of work experience in Production planning in Manufacturing Indusry.
• Must have Under Graduation in Engineering /equivalent educational qualification.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
