Senior Production Planning Executive

Key Focus
To ensure the seamless delivery of products to customers by efficiently managing production schedules, inventory, and supply chain coordination.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet customer demands based on net/gross demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with the SCM team to ensure accurate forecasting and data entry in the ERP system for finished goods.
• Communicate product availability updates to the SCM team periodically.
• Coordinate with assembly shops to ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Optimize inventory levels by coordinating with the stores department for timely material issuance to assembly shops.
• Engage with subassembly vendors daily to ensure production flow and material availability.
• Issue materials to subcontractors and monitor the timely completion of manufacturing orders.
• Ensure the supply of components to other Legrand units based on demand.
• Manage SEZ and export orders for finished products, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the materials department to ensure smooth daily shipments.
• Ensure components' availability for KAIZEN and process improvements.
• Work with R&D for the implementation of new product processes and BOM updates in ERP systems.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain uninterrupted availability of raw materials.

Qualifications, Role-Specific Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields) or relevant technical qualifications.
• Minimum of 2 - 6 years of experience in production planning and supply chain coordination in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
