Project Planning & Control - Solar EPC

Role & responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating solar power projects from initiation to completion.
• Establish project milestones, critical path, and resource allocation.
• Monitor and update project schedules to reflect progress, delays, or changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment on project timelines.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and suppliers to track progress and address delays.
• Identify potential project risks and create contingency plans.
• Analyze delays and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Align project schedules with budget forecasts and financial constraints.
• Ensure optimal allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.
• Track and report cost variances related to scheduling changes.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and national regulations related to solar EPC projects.
• Maintain quality standards while optimizing project timelines.
• Work with safety teams to integrate HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements into project plans.
• Maintain accurate project documentation for future reference and audits.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proficiency in project scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with EPC contract structures, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
• Strong knowledge of solar power plant design, construction, and commissioning processes.
