Construction Head - Solar EPC

Job Summary
The Construction Head Solar EPC is responsible for overseeing the execution of large-scale solar projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The Construction Head will drive operational efficiency, manage budgets, and ensure seamless coordination between design, procurement, and execution teams.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of solar EPC projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure smooth material and resource availability.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns.
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and technical specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Implement best practices for site safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring project expectations are met.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial control.
• Optimize resource allocation to reduce waste and enhance profitability.
• Ensure adherence to local and national construction codes and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in construction management within Solar EPC or Renewable Energy projects.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of government policies, approvals, and land acquisition for solar projects.
• Familiarity with emerging solar technologies and energy storage solutions.
