Job brief

- We are looking for a Construction Manager to execute Greenfield industrial projects and oversee

their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. He shall be responsible for Planning,

budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of Green Field Project in Pharma/

Semiconductor sectors. He must execute Site work/ installation, commissioning for Civil,

Architectural, PEB, Mechanical, Clean Room, HVAC, Automation, Fire safety etc.

Responsibilities

- SPOC between Contractors, client and Design team

- He must have executed project with site size more than 40 acre

- Oversee and direct construction projects from green land to completion.

- Review the project in-depth to schedule site activities and estimate costs.

- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety

- Coordinate and direct Contractors/ Subcontractors / Client manger / Design team

- Should be acted as PMC Manager. 12- 15 Site engineers shall be reporting to him.

- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.

- Meet contractual conditions of performance.

- Review the work progress on daily basis.

- Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.

- Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.

- Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.

- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

- Requirements and skills

- Proven working experience in construction / Site management in pharma / Semiconductor projects

- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes means and methods.

- Expert of building products, construction and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards

- Understanding of all facets of the construction process

- Familiarity with construction management software packages – MS Project, Auto CAD

- Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.

- Competency in conflict and crisis management

- Leadership and human resources management skills

- Excellent time and project management skills

- Coordinate work with designers and other disciplines such as architectural, piping, HVAC, mechanical,

electrical, etc.

- All construction activities include providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction &

coordination with site management activities.

- Ensuring zero defect works to be executed at site.

- Preparing Daily, Weekly, Monthly Progress report

- Communication and interpersonal skills including influencing.

- Ability to work/ delegate in a team as well as on your own initiative.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in civil / mechanical engineering.

- 15+ years relevant experience in Industrial projects is a must.

- I should manage Civil, Structural and MEP site activities.

- Candidate working in Engineering consulting firm will be preferred.

- Candidate from Cleanroom plant engineering/ HVAC must.

- Proficient computer skills using MS Project and MS Office tools is a must.
