Deputy Manager /Manager - Quality in Solar EPC

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control plans specific to electrical works in solar EPC projects.
• Ensure compliance with international, national, and industry-specific electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
• Perform quality audits of electrical installations, equipment, and components during project execution.
• Identify and rectify quality deviations through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Oversee and participate in the inspection of electrical systems, including wiring, switchgear, inverters, transformers, and grid connections.
• Verify the accuracy of testing, including insulation resistance, continuity tests, and performance of solar panels and inverters.
• Ensure proper commissioning of electrical systems, including testing for safety, performance, and compliance.
• Maintain records of quality control processes, inspections, and test results.
• Prepare and present regular quality reports to senior management and clients.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for electrical quality assurance and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical quality assurance within solar or renewable energy projects.
• Proven track record in overseeing quality in utility-scale solar EPC projects.
