Jobholder will report to the Process Lead and will be responsible for a range of tasks including kickoff of contract renewals, contract negotiations, review of legal contracts and signing of new contracts. Previous contract management and any experience with Vendor, Coupa, Ironclad and Jira would be an added advantage.

Responsibility:
  • Responsible for overall process performance of R2R Team which handles 80-85% of all R2R functions for the real estate client.
  • This role will be responsible for successful transition of the process and responsible for setting it up FTR (First Time Right)
  • Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the R2R processes, complete know how and understanding of the value chain.
  • Expectation is that candidate leads the monthly governance meeting with the clients, process leader and maintains a strong client relationship with the key stakeholders.
  • Ensure to meet Service Levels Agreement results (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Will be responsible to deliver the process improvements and transformation as committed as per the contractual obligations.
  • Supporting Clients (Property Managers) on monthly reporting functions for Record to Report activities related to various properties. And be the SPOC for any discussion/ escalation /on-going reviews with client.
  • Preparation of month end workbooks, including posting of income and expense accruals, prepayments and preparation of the base rent reconciliations in line with finance timetable.
  • Conducting monthly operation management review meeting with the Asset Operations team to discuss variances to budget.
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate detail and explanation of balances
  • Clear GR/IR and review purchase orders with the Asset operation team
  • Update the monthly management report with detailed variance commentary of actuals to budget/ forecast.
  • Prepare aged debtors reporting and process any bad debt write offs.
  • Assist with statutory disclosures for capital commitments, aged debtors, and lease receivables.
  • Calculate tenant outgoings wash-ups and accruals
  • Prepare tenant outgoings statements and analytical review workbooks for auditors
  • Provide auditors with information as requested.
  • Update Budgeting & Forecasting model (Anaplan), including updating letup schedules & leasing forecast, operating expenses, capital expenditure and other income.
  • Update tenant outgoings forecast workbooks based on Anaplan for review with the Divisional Finance Manager and subsequent discussion with the Asset Management team.
  • Any other tasks as required or directed from time to time, which include but are not limited to ad hoc analysis, investigation of calculations/GL balances, and trend analysis.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed to support Management, Tax, and other stakeholder s requirements.
  • Ensure all close procedures are performed accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with the established internal control procedures.
  • Ensure the accounting systems are performing as designed to meet responsibilities and controls maintained.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all reports delivered for all entities and at the consolidated level.
  • Create, maintain, and report metrics of key performance drivers.
  • Maintain attrition at the lowest level as per corporate target and proactively plan & execute people movement during high volume or attrition.
  • Coach & mentor the teams and help them on their career pathing to succeed well in their roles.
  • Ensure team is trained on all corporate/process and skill-based trainings and knowledge retention and improvement in the team.
  • Develop and run metrics that measure the activities performed by R2R and present them in a synthesized way.
  • Develop and maintain a catalog of reports that enable clients to handle their inputs into the Property Accounting processes in an effective way.
  • Ensure process controls are appropriately established, communicated to employees and timely audited.
  • Pro-actively identify the issues or client needs and act.
  • Become SME of software and tools utilized by the R2R Team (mainly SAP). Provide system administration and collaborate closely with technologist to support, maintain, and improve the software products used by the Accounts Receivable team.
  • Play an independent role in managing team, interacting with clients, and sharing regular updates with senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for new business opportunities with clients, support in proposal development, identify and develop new solution offerings.
  • Maintain strong client focus by building strong relationships with clients, scheduling and conducting key client meetings.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualification -

B.Com

  • Relevant Accounting Experience
  • B.Com, M.Com, MBA, CA, CPA with minimum 8 years of experience
  • Good communication and very good analytical skills
  • Good understanding of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
  • Relevant Experience of managing R2R processes for real estate client.
  • Functional SME with SAP experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in Advanced MS-excel knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal communication, Interpersonal, Analytical Skills & highly proactive in approach
Personal skills:
  • A great teammate with an excellent interpersonal skill
  • Experience in team handling of minimum 4-5 employees
  • Establish & Manage client relationship through regular engagement with the client.
  • Pro-actively identify the issues or client needs and act.
  • High customer service oriented

  • Understanding to customers concerns whilst maintaining focus on business needs
