Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python Desktop Application Software Developer to join our international team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of essential software tools used by our clients design centers. Youll engage in the complete software lifecycle, from gathering initial requirements to deployment, testing, and support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Python-based desktop applications for design engineering.
Conduct code reviews and debug software.
Collaborate with software architects to identify and implement new requirements.
Develop and implement logic to enable communication with other systems.
Create and execute automated tests to validate software tools.
Write detailed documentation outlining tool architecture and operations.
Work effectively as part of an international team.

Qualification

Education : Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with an affinity for electrical engineering or microelectronics.
Experience :
At least 3 years of proven experience with Python object-oriented programming.
Proficiency with configuration management tools (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Strong expertise in Linux environments, including shell scripting (bash).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Soft Skills :
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Effective collaboration in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Experience with Qt Widgets or Qt Quick/QML.
Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira or Bitbucket.
Knowledge of testing platforms, such as Robot Framework.
Willingness to learn Cadence SKILL programming (training and support provided).
