Job Description
Were seeking a talented C++ Desktop Application Software Developer to join our international team. Youll play a vital role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing critical software covering all aspects from requirements development through solution architectures to software development, test, validation, maintenance and support.
Responsibility
- Develop high-performance desktop applications tailored for design engineers.
- Collaborate with software architects to define and implement new requirements.
- Design and implement logic for seamless communication with other systems.
- Create and execute automated tests, ensuring the robustness of developed tools.
- Author comprehensive documentation detailing the tools architecture and operation.
- Operate flexibly and effectively within a diverse international team.
Qualification:
- Education:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with an affinity for electrical engineering or microelectronics.
- Technical Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in C++ object-oriented programming with a strong grasp of syntax, libraries, and frameworks.
- Mastery of C++ syntax, libraries, and frameworks.
- Expertise in algorithm design, implementation, and performance optimization.
- Proficient in profiling and performance optimization, including manual memory manipulation for peak efficiency.
- Extensive experience with multithreading and multiprocessing.Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting (e.g., Bash).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills, both written and spoken in English.
- Desirable Skills (Plus Points):
- Experience with Qt Widgets, Qt Quick, or Qt QML.
- Advanced expertise in profiling, performance optimization, and concurrent programming.
- Familiarity with tools or workflows related to semiconductor design.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems like Jira and Bitbucket.
- Experience with testing platforms such as Robot Framework.
- Willingness to learn Cadence SKILL programming (training and support will be provided).
