Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Python/PyQt and C++ Desktop Application Software Developer to join our international team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of essential software tools used by our clients design centers. Youll engage in the complete software lifecycle, from gathering initial requirements to deployment, testing, and support.

Responsibility

Design and develop desktop applications using Python and PyQt for design engineers.
Create and maintain C++ applications for use by design engineers.
Conduct code reviews, debugging, and optimization.
Collaborate with software architects to identify and define new requirements.
Implement communication logic for interaction with other systems.
Develop and execute automated tests to ensure tool reliability and functionality.
Create comprehensive documentation detailing tool architecture and operation.
Work collaboratively in a flexible, international team environment.

Qualification

Education :
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with a strong interest in electrical engineering/microelectronics.
Experience :
At least 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming with Python, PyQt, and C++.
Proficiency with configuration management tools (e.g., Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Strong background in Linux environments (e.g., bash scripting).
Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Desired Skills :
Experience developing applications with mixed Python and C++ codebases, leveraging PyQt for GUI development.
Knowledge of Python-C++ interoperability techniques.
Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira/Bitbucket.
Experience with testing platforms such as Robot Framework.
