Pricing Manager

About the Role

As a Pricing Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the pricing strategy for flights, and hotels on our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, optimize, and execute data-driven pricing models that maximize revenue, enhance customer acquisition, and maintain competitive positioning in the online travel industry.

This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, market intelligence, and strategic thinking to drive revenue growth through dynamic pricing, A/B testing, and AI-driven pricing optimization.

What You Will Do

• Pricing Strategy & Optimization: Develop and implement real-time dynamic pricing models for travel products, define pricing rules, discount structures, and promotions, collaborate with data science teams to enhance AI-based pricing algorithms and use demand forecasting models to adjust pricing based on seasonality and customer trends
• Competitive & Market Analysis: Monitor real-time competitor pricing using web scraping and market intelligence tools, conduct benchmarking studies to position OTA pricing competitively in different regions, track customer booking patterns, demand elasticity, and behavioral insights to refine pricing strategies
• Revenue & Yield Management: Work closely with Revenue Management, Finance, and Partnerships teams to optimize pricing structures, adjust pricing based on occupancy levels, booking trends, and supplier contracts, implement yield management strategies to balance supply, demand, and margins
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product & technology teams to integrate automated pricing engines, align pricing strategies with marketing & promotional campaigns for seasonal offers, ensure pricing compliance with regulatory guidelines and supplier agreements.
• Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting: Develop data dashboards & pricing reports to track revenue, conversion rates, and performance, conduct A/B testing on pricing models to measure effectiveness, provide senior leadership with pricing insights and actionable recommendations

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or yield optimization (preferably in an OTA, airline, hotel, or e-commerce environment)
• Strong expertise in pricing analytics, competitive benchmarking, and revenue modelling
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics, and revenue management systems (RMS)
• Experience with AI/ML-driven pricing strategies and automation tools
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach
• Ability to handle high-paced, competitive, and evolving market conditions
